Day 2 - Nassau Itinerary

Quick, fun, and close to the ship!

Goal: No taxis. Easy walk. Everyone has fun and makes it back to the ship in time.

0:00–0:10 | Explore the Cruise Port

Start right at the pier. The redesigned port has a cultural exhibit, artisan shops, and a shaded green space with a small play area for the kids.

0:10–0:40 | Queen’s Staircase & Fort Fincastle

Walk 10 minutes to Nassau’s most famous landmark. 66 steps carved from limestone in the 1700s. Fort Fincastle is just above with views of the harbor.

Tip: If stairs are too much, enjoy the shaded waterfall-like base area instead.

0:40–1:10 | Bahamas Rum Cake Factory

Free samples, gift-sized cakes, and great smells. Quick stop and fun for all ages.

1:10–1:50 | Pirate Republic Brewing Co.

Family-friendly brewery steps from the port. A/C, restrooms, snacks, drinks (alcoholic & non-alcoholic), and seating. Great cooldown stop.

1:50–2:00 | Return to Ship

You're already steps away from the terminal entrance. Easy return with plenty of buffer time.

Alternative: If the kids want to dig in the sand, swap the fort stop for Junkanoo Beach (10 min walk). Laid-back and free. Let them play while adults chill.
